Białka Tatrzańska is a picturesque Podhale village located over the Białka river, which is one of the most beautiful and cleanest rivers in the Tatra mountains. It is located 10 km from Nowy Targ and 20 km from Zakopane. In the east it borders with Czarna Góra. On the Litwinka hill you can admire the beautiful panorama of the Tatras: from the Bielskie Tatras to the Western ones with the following summits: Hawrań, Murań, Tatrzańska Łomnica, Rysy, Kasprowy, Giewont to summits over the Chochołowska Valley.
In winter, which is quite long in Białka, you can practise cross-country skiing and, in particular, downhill skiing. Here the ski slopes are gentle, routes are wide and well maintained. In the neighbourhood, there are 21 ski lifts, including 5 chairlifts for 4 persons of 540 m, for 3 persons of 1380 m, for 4 persons of 800 and for 6 persons of 1400 m, and for 4 persons, as well as T-bar and platter lifts.
The ski centres of Kotelnica, Bania and Kaniówka belong to the “1 skipass and 14 ski lifts” system and all downhill routs are over 15 km long. Dozens of ski lifts located on natural slopes of various inclination and length attract enthusiasts of winter fun from all over Poland. Routes of the lifts are carefully prepared by snowcats, artificially snowed and lighted. Thus, they can be also used at night. In the neighbourhood there are platter and T-bar lifts in Bukowina Tatrzańska, Jurgów and Czarna Góra.
In summer, the beautiful view of the Tatra, Gorce and Pieniny mountains from surrounding hills will encourage you to walking, bicycle trips and horse riding. In the clean river, you can fish. We are near mountain tourist routes, attractions in Zakopane, or cross borders with Slovakia. Attractions that are worth your attention are, for example: the Czorsztyński Lake, a castle in Niedzica, rafting on the Dunajec river and a newly opened complex of thermal pools of Bania, which is located just 500 m from our Hotel, as well as thermal pools in Bańska Niżna and Bukowina Tatrzańska.
