Białka Tatrzańska is a beautifully located mountain village. It is located at the foot of the Tatras over the Białka river, only 15 km from Nowy Targ and 20 km from Zakopane. The village lies in the basin between the Koszarków, Jankulakowski, Wysoki and Kustawiński Peaks and Kotelnica Białczańska, where enthusiasts of winter sports arrive every winter. In summer, the Białka river, one of the cleanest rivers in the Podhale region, is an additional attraction. The name of the river comes from bright stones in the river bed.
Białka Tatrzańska is an excellent place for recreation for the whole family. There are a lot of attractions all year round. The diversified landscape and views of the Tatras, which will take your breath away, encourage to set to many foot and bicycle routes.
Winter in Białka attracts mainly skiers and enthusiasts of other winter sports. Slopes of various difficulty are perfectly prepared, which enables skiers to choose a route matching their skills. Everyone will find something for themselves. For beginners, there are routes of a slight inclination. For enthusiasts of adrenaline, there are routes approved by the International Skiing Federation FIS. For ski runners, there are dozen of kilometres of well -prepared cross-country tracks. In addition, there are many ski equipment rentals, ski schools, and a snowpark.
TATRYSKI is a system combining 18 chairlifts, 38 t-bar lifts, platter lifts and belt lifts, 61 routes of various difficulty of 45 km in total, and 9 ski stations in 6 locations in Poland and Slovakia in one skipass.
In summer, the neighbourhood of mountain tourist routes will encourage you to hiking, bicycle trips or climbing. In the surroundings, there are also many popular tourist attractions, like for example Niedzica, Czorsztyn or Zakopane. It is worth go rafting on the Dunajec river or to Slovakia. In many complexes of thermal pools, including Terma Bania (500 km from our hotel) or thermal pools in Bukowina Tatrzańska, Szaflary and Chochołów, you will find an excellent place for relaxation in water.
